With over a decade of experience working with children of diverse abilities and communication skills as a dedicated Program Aide, and a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), I specialize in working alongside amazing therapists focusing on play-based and child centered approaches. My journey in this field began with my daughter being born with Down Syndrome, and later at MacEwan University where I studied Speech-Language Therapy. I then pursued further education at the University of Montana, obtaining an Associate in Applied Science Speech-Language Pathology (SLPA), with minors in Audiology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

I have a passion for inclusion and advocacy of all abilities, I am committed to supporting diverse forms of communication and promoting a positive and accessible environment for every child. I believe in the power of play to unlock each child’s unique potential and strive to create meaningful, individualized strategies that celebrate every step of their journey.

I was born in Calgary, but have now lived in 7 cities! Though I have spent the most amount of time in Airdrie, AB. I completed my Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in July 2025. Throughout my time in school, I was fortunate enough to have two placements in pediatrics which provided me with a wealth of experiences and has grown my passion for working in this area! I strive to take a family-centered and collaborative approach to help support and empower the children and families I work with. When I am not at work, you might find me working at my grandparents acreage, sewing or crocheting, spending time outside, and getting cozy with a book.
